Zainab Jackson, MS, NCC, LCPC

Zainab Jackson is a licensed psychotherapist in the state of Maryland. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park and her Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Johns Hopkins University. 

Zainab is passionate about helping individuals and families from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds who struggle with a variety of mental health disorders reach a fulfilled, healthy, happy, and functional lifestyle. She has extensive experience providing therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Zainab worked at multiple outpatient mental health clinics and schools before starting her private practice. She uses a variety of evidence-based therapy techniques and specializes in mood disorders, behavioral disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, trauma, relationship problems and communication issues. Her holistic wellness approach focuses on improving overall mind, body, and spiritual health. Zainab also incorporates art therapy and mindfulness techniques in her practice.
