My clients describe me as a warm and compassionate therapist who uses humor and genuine interactions in her practice. My priority is to provide a validating, non-judgmental, and healing space for my clients to feel valued, heard and empowered. I like to integrate a range of evidence based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Person Centered, Internal Family System (IFS), Positive Psychology, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) in a safe and empathetic space.
I am extremely passionate about empowering people towards healing. I like to help people work towards the best version of themselves and gain independence by pushing past their limitations.
Experience
I have over 12 years of experience working in the field of human services and nonprofit serving individuals with disabilities, trauma, and complex health conditions. I have a tremendous amount of experience in leadership, mediation, mentoring, training, team building and supervising a large team of case managers. I am also certified as a brain injury specialist.
